• Pista House - this old legend, next to the Char Minar, is the most famous Haleem in Hyderabad. Go visit befoe Ramzan is over!
• Famous Ice Cream - fruit-flavoured ice-cream, and open late night. What more can one ask for
• My Place, Banjara Hills - the multi-cuisine restaurant is set in a huge expanse of greenery. It's right in the heart of the city, and tables are tucked away in private areas. Beautiful setting. Unfortunately, iffy food and less than perfect service bring this potential five-star restaurant to a three-star rating. A must visit though, if only for the ambience!
• Al Fresco, Taj Krishna - beautiful outdoor dining, especially with the weather being so great. It's got a new menu!

• Paradise, Secunderabad - I can't believe I haven't been here as yet. In my quest for the perfect biryani, I've settled on ITC Kakatiya's midnight buffet. However, Paradise is supposed to be the legendary biryani in Hyderabad, and my next big target! Look out for the review of that soon!
